Mobile VoIP: Internet Telephony With Your Cell Phone. How To Videos!

The mobile operators and their worst nightmare: the mobile VoIP. Find out how much is easy phoning via the Internet with your mobile

These videos show how to phone via the Internet using the last applications of mobile VoIP. Maybe this is the reason why operators start selling the most recent smartphone handsets with VoIP functionalities disabled without informing their customers. Vodafone declared that the reason why they disallow the Internet telephony on the new Nokia N95 is to care about their customers.

So, so sweets! We always think badly...

Mobile Jajah

Mobile Jajah is a callback VoIP application. Digit your number and the number of the person you want to talk with and your phone will ring. Pick up the phone and just wait for the answer on the other side.

This video shows how to login into Jajah Mobile Suite and make VoIP calls using the callback system. There’s also a useful trick when one is abroad:  it's possible to change the caller number on the fly in order to use the phone of your hotel (or another available landline) and cut off roaming charge. It is possible to make a call with a couple of clicks, thanks to the useful contact list..

TruPhone

TruPhone is the most recent application of mobile VoIP, and the most interesting. It drives the mobile operators to disallow Internet telephony   in the latest Smartphone handsets. Why? Because Truphone allows free Internet calls using a public hotspot.

This video shows how is simple to phone via the Internet using TruPhone, as simple as a normal telephone call. Let's assume  that a wifi connection is available, digit the numbe  then open the call menu and choose Internet call.

Fring

Fring is perhaps the most popular mobile VoIP application. You can call GMail, MSN and Skype contacts with your cell phone through its Internet connection. Fring is compatible with the SIP protocol.

This video shows how to make calls to landlines using Fring on your mobile. You have to set  the SIP parameters into the Fring peference and call to landline using you mobile internet connection. You can open a SIP account directly into the Fring website.

And  the Internet Telephony start to disappear from the most recent smartphones...
