Yahoo! e Microsoft declare war on Skype

Yahoo! e Microsoft towards a strategic coalition in the field of instant messaging.

It seems that an agreement has by now been made between the two big companies to allow users of their respective messengers to communicate. Certainly, the aim is not to accommodate users, but to give battle to Skype in the field of VoIp. Indeed, Yahoo! Messenger e MSN users are at present the considerable number of 275 millions and, once merged, they will be an enormous community for VoIp services and a potential slice of market to steal to Skype.
