Getaway from Microsoft
The giant of Redmond is undergoing a “brain” getaway mainly due to the bureaucratic immobility the company is suffering because of its titanic proportions.
Main causes seem to be two:
50% of energy and resources are full-time dedicated to maintenance of bugged and defective software now circulating all over the planet and the creative slowness, which is not keeping pace with the extremely quick development of information flows the net is causing
Such competitors as Google or Yahoo! are indeed focusing their efforts on innovative products testing, by using mini-teams who independently create, optimize and test projects on the basis of a single user requirement (Google home page o Yahoo! News) leaving Microsoft behind on a field, that of information managing on a personal level, which most probably will work in the future as a traffic divider between leader companies and those collapsing under their own weight.
