Watching Sky Channels Free of Charge?

A couple of Sundays ago I saw a soccer game and a movie on Sky TV without having any subscription, nor decoder and even less a satellite dish. This is the image of the mysterious object on which it has appeared the football ground with players, referee and Sky logo on high left (the image is bad because I used my cell phone to take the pic).

I've found extremely funny this combination of events which IMHO represent the incapacity of who tries to fight against the new media potentiality, like a man who tries to stop a little torrent with his hands and is overwhelmed.

Have you guessed the mysterious object? OK, let's make the image a little bit wider. Have you understand what is it?

5000 Italian users have received a legal warning by a lawyer's office which care for a company rights called Peppermint for illegal sharing of music files. The users' log files have been provided by Telecom Italia without informing them, violating their privacy, and they have been invited to pay 400 euro in order to don’t be involved in legal proceedings.

It's better to specify that Telecom initially opposed himself to such request but it was obliged to provide user’s log due to the IPRED directive.

But the pirates, one knows, are a terrible danger for the economy and civil society. They must be squashed like beetles. But let's read the price list of concert planned for the next summer in Italy. These are the most expensive:

1. Barbra Streisand (Rome) 850 euro
2. Rolling Stones (Rome) 177 euro
3. The Who (Verona) 105,80 euro
   

here the complete list. But, just a moment, who are the pirates?

Did you get the reason why it was so funny to me watching a Sky channel on a video surveillance system for babies which was catching up my grandchild who was sleeping quietly in his cradle?

I can imagine how this was possible, but this is not the point. A Sky channel which appears on a video surveillance system for newborn babies is like a little hole that opens on a wall in which water pipes have burst, with many plumbers pissed off, who are already  trying to close with their hands all the holes which have previously opened.

Instead of fighting against water, why not to organize the flow? Would it be not better to use  technology and know-how in order to broad it better getting profit?

I would like to make a request to the Sky managers which could read this article; please don't send the police in early morning to make inspection into my granchild's cradle because he doesn't know anything of all this.

If he get awake at that hour he could aks for some milk not an inspection, and he could get reeeally upset! Thanks a lot.
